Hostel Veselka enjoys a central location in Kyiv, 750m from Independence square, 500m from Saint Sophia cathedral and 600m from central street Kreshchatik. Hostel is situated just 10m from the metro station Golden Gates and minimal proximity to central bars, cafes, restaurants and parks.

The ideal of establishing the hostel took its beginning 10 years ago, when two young friends with no money decides to go hitchhiking across Europe. Since the budget was limited, they stayed in Warsaw, Prague, Budapest, Paris, Amsterdam, etc hostels. And it led them into raptures, as the prices were very low, but the stay was worth every penny. After they returned to Ukraine and decided to just take a trip across their home country, guys realized that the level of our cheap accommodation does not live up to European standards. And it became clear that foreigners, who want to travel into the “wild” tourism to Ukraine, will be disappointed. That’s how the idea to open a hostel of European level appeared. After few years of collecting various information, Vladimir and Andrew have opened a hostel on June 8, 2014-the most European hostel in the center of historic Kyiv. And in just two years Veselka Hostel became the mast visited hostels among foreigners.
